Agrivoltaic Farming with Byron Kominek

In today’s episode, we meet Byron Kominek, the visionary behind Jack’s Solar Garden here in Boulder County Colorado. His work lies at the nexus of clean energy, local food, basic research, education, preserving natural resources and saving agricultural land. Byron’s family farm is being transformed into a community solar garden that will also support a fully-functioning farm that takes advantage of the micro-climates created by the shade of his solar panels.
